Golden Nugget Las Vegas

Old Vegas. It brings up lots of visions and images of stars gone by. What most people don't realize is the downtown area of Las Vegas (about 6 miles from the now famous Strip) was where the first build-up began. That's where the old neon waving cowboy resided, and where some of the old hotel/casinos are still going strong. One of those is the Golden Nugget Las Vegas.

Downtown is a different Vegas from the Strip. The Golden Nugget Hotel Las Vegas is in the heart of downtown, right across from the Freemont Experience, in amongst a slew of casinos which are "regulars" casinos. The Golden Nugget is a place where the guests come back often, usually every year. A number of Clark County , Nevada , buildings are in the same area, so you can hit the courthouse if you don't want to go to a wedding chapel.

Being a regulars casino, and in the downtown Las Vegas area, The Golden Nugget Casino Las Vegas is very reasonably priced. You can get rooms for less than $60 a night, which can include $10 in Casino credit. Special deals can be found on www.goldennugget.com . Entertainment has the same old Vegas feel, with some older acts, but they make up for it with one of the better buffets in the downtown area. Sometimes I stop by for dinner to the Golden Nugget Resort Las Vegas for the famous bread pudding at the buffet. As for the slots and the table games, they boast some of the best returns in LV , which in general is what keeps people coming back to the downtown area.
