Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas

I've been in the Hard Rock Cafés in New York, London, Atlanta, and elsewhere, and have always been amazed at how many pieces of rock memorabilia they are able to obtain. Now, think about a full hotel packed with Prince suits, Aerosmith guitars, and Little Richard's hairpiece (I made that last one up, but you get the picture). That will give you an idea of what the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas experience is like.

Since opening some 10 years ago, the Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas is where the hip crowd has stayed and played. A real sand beach, dealers who are younger and less battle-worn (we all know what I'm talking about) plus the Hard Rock Café Las Vegas right on-site. As if that wasn't enough, an enormous Vegas-style neon guitar welcomes visitors to Southern Nevada outside the hotel.

Since it is so popular, prices are steep. They have some early bird promotions that still run about $240 a night. That being said, for some, it's worth it to be at the Hard Rock Las Vegas, where the action is.

Of the many amenities at the Hard Rock Resort Las Vegas, by far my favorite is The Joint, their intimate rock and roll theatre. I went to a Billy Joel concert that was just amazing. I can't overstate it. The stars were there, (I sat right in front of Drew Carey in about the 4 th row--yes, I knew someone to get those seats) and the joint just rocks. Acts from Nine Inch Nails to Bon Jovi to Avril Levigne all play The Joint at the Hard Rock Las Vegas.
