Las Vegas Golf Resorts

Most of the folks who head to Las Vegas to play golf try to catch a bleary-eyed round between buffets and being blotto at the bar, but for the true golf connoisseur who goes for the golf exclusively and demands only the best, the Las Vegas golf resorts have service and style in spades.

The top of all the golf resorts in Las Vegas is Lake Las Vegas , which is actually a few miles out of town. However, that's part of the beauty of it. You don't have to be around the ringing bells and glitz if you don't want to, making it a true escape. Vegas is great and all, but getting out of Las Vegas is sometimes better.

Lake Las Vegas has two LV golf resorts: The Hyatt Regency and the Ritz Carlton . When you think about it, if you have the money to stay at the resort, does it really matter which you choose? Maybe. The Hyatt has an Adventure Concierge if you aren't just about golf, and has the Camp Hyatt club if you want to golf and don't want the kids to come with you. The Ritz Carlton is more for the business traveler with lots of perks in the rooms, including internet access. Lake Las Vegas has resort villas, as well.

The resort rooms get cheap (ha!) greens fees to three courses, designed by Tom Weiskopf, Jack Nicklaus, and soon Tom Fazio (designer of Shadow Creek). Seriously, it's expensive, but hey, you are at a resort. www.lakelasvegas.com has details.
