Las Vegas Shows

So many shows, so little time! With all the entertainment in Las Vegas, you could spend every night at a show for months and still not get everything in. With so many choices, how do you make a decision? Here are a few tips when choosing Las Vegas Shows so you can make the trip to southern Nevada with your entertainment dollar working hardest for you.

  1. What is your budget? Probably no other show-related question decides for you like this one. If you have more than $100 per ticket to spend, go all out. "O" at the Bellagio (or any Cirque Du Soleil show, for that matter), or Danny Gans at the Mirage comes close to being worth it. www.bellagioadmission.com will get you "O", while www.mirage.com will get you to Danny Gans.
  2. Where are you staying? If you want more reasonable tickets, even cheap, check with where you are staying. Usually the hotel offers the best options when it comes to shows.
  3. What do you like? Are you someone who doesn't want to leave Vegas without getting the authentic experience? You may want to look up Wayne Newton, or catch a topless revue. Go to www.vegas.com for a list of shows. These types of shows are usually cheap, and entertaining if you go in knowing what you are going to get. If you like magic, there are lots of shows, but only a couple of good ones (see our Las Vegas Magic Shows page).
  4. Do you really want to go to a show? Sounds like a strange question, but very often people go to the trouble of getting tickets, making reservations, scheduling their time, cutting short their dinner, then realize they didn't come to Las Vegas to keep to a schedule. Make sure it's how you want to use your short time in southern Nevada before checking out shows.

LV Shows are certainly an experience, which can get you whatever you would like. Good luck with your ticket search! You can get more information by clicking on www.lasvegas.com or www.vegas.com.
